Meet our Family Support Team
Setareh Pooyan, Program Director
Setareh Pooyan has been working in the field of education for more than 15+ years. She worked as an educator for many years at different nonprofit and for-profit organizations and schools with young children through high school age.
She also worked as a site supervisor and administrator in the education industry. She believes children learn through interaction with peers and they construct their knowledge and develop skills through exploration, self-expression, and collaboration. Her primary focus is to support children, families, and educators with their educational, developmental, and /social-emotional needs. She can be reached at spooyan@holyfamilydayhome.org.
Santos De La Paz, Family Services Coordinator
Santos works with our Family Support Team, program staff, and other clinical consultants and providers to ensure that HFDH families have access to IEP/developmental services necessary to ensure the welfare of their children. Santos also provides educational resources and referral services to the Spanish-speaking community in our program. He previously worked at After-School All-Stars in Los Angeles, CA as a Program Leader where he designed and implemented daily lesson plans for 120 students in the after-school setting, as well as tutoring students on various subjects including Algebra, Biology, and World History. Santos is a graduate from UC Santa Cruz with a Bachelor of Arts degree. He is new to the Bay Area and is excited to explore the city and the food it has to offer.
